Golden Gate Metal Pedestal Bases

A pedestal base changes what a table can do. No legs at the corners means no one straddling a leg at dinner, no fight over where the chairs go, and a clean sightline all the way under the top — which is why pedestals are the default for round tops and for anywhere seating matters more than tradition.

The Golden Gate pedestal is welded steel, finished in the same flat black powder coat as the rest of the Golden Gate line, indoor or out. It reads light — an open, flowing profile that disappears under a slab instead of competing with it — but there's nothing light about the construction. The wide footprint puts the weight out at the perimeter where it resists tipping, and the mounting plate spreads the load across the underside of the top rather than pinching it at a few points.

Five heights cover the whole range: 16" for coffee tables, 22" for end tables, 28" for dining, 34" for counter, and 40" for bar and pub tops. Bases are sold individually — one for a round or square top, two for a longer rectangular table or a bench.
